Women's World Day of Prayer in Caen

The Women's World Day of Prayer

takes place every year on the first Friday in March.

 It is an ecumenical celebration of our shared faith and common humanity.
Each year it is prepared by the women of a different country,
who tell their story and ask for our prayers;

  this year the women of Surinam spoke of the beauty of God’s creation
and the need for us all to enjoy and protect it. 

The celebration took place in the Temple of Église Protestante Unie in Caen 
and the Chaplaincy was represented by Marion Clarke and Christine Harris who took part.
