We had the traditional Service of Prayer for the Unity of Christians
this year hosted at the Protestant Temple in Caen
where Pastor Christiane welcomed us.
There is a rich diversity of Church Traditions in the city of Caen.
The Ministers present represented the RC Diocese, the Unified Protestant Church, the Malagasi Protestant Church in Caen and the Russian and Romanian Orthodox Churches.
Fr David Nixon from the Diocese of Exeter (second to the left) and our Fr Mark (fourth to the left), Chaplain of St George's Paris, represented the Anglican Church.

Thanks to the Chaplaincy for your hospitality. I think Yvonnic's notion of sharing the joys of our faith together, across denominations, is worth thinking more about, though I have no concrete thoughts about how. We would need to work this out, each in their own context - for me St Thomas Exeter.
