A highlight in the Christmas season: we were invited by RC Bishop Jean-Claude, along with the different Church traditions present in Caen, to receive together the Peacelight brought from Bethlehem by the International Scout movement.
Yvonnic, our reader in training, represented us and was invited to present the Anglican tradition through a typically used representation of the Cross.
Then the Peacelight was shared to the Scouts and their families and friends in packed St Jean church (Caen city centre).
It has been announced that Bishop Jean-Claude Boulanger is now to retire.
We are deeply grateful for his unfailing ecumenical pastoral action in his Diocese, allowing us to worship in the Chapelle de la Miséricorde and considering us as friends and partners in the Church of Jesus Christ.
